Assessor - Children's Education
Permanent Full-Time
Total Remuneration Package $103,956 – base salary $91,590 p.a plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
About the Role
As an Assessor with TAFE NSW, you will carry out independent assessments and grading for students, focusing on supporting them in achieving completion of tasks and identifying areas that may require further training. You will work as part of a collaborative team of early childhood education professionals, facilitating and guiding students through their work placements, supporting them as they gain practical experience in early childhood education settings or on TAFE NSW campuses, and assessing their practical skills through simulated activities.

Qualifications
* Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood (AQF level 7).
* Have a minimum of three years post‐qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
* Have evidence of holding the appropriate qualifications to assess Vocational Education and Training.
* Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
