Permanent, Full-time position with a Fortnightly RDO plus commuter use of fleet vehicle Band 5 Salary between $69,531.80 to $79,372.80 per annum plus statutory superannuation An exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team The Role The Supervisor Sports Grounds will play a key role in ensuring the management and maintenance of the City of Ballarat's elite sports ground surfaces (including Mars Stadium) using best industry practice. Reporting to the Coordinator Urban Forest and Open Spaces, the Supervisor Sports Grounds will be responsible for: leading a team in developing, setting and monitoring outcomes to achieve work area programs and projects. leading a team to deliver elite sporting surfaces for AFL, A League and Cricket Australia. positively assist their team in delivering the technical aspects of the role to ensure that the organisation is able to meet its corporate objectives. Proactively contribute towards the development of forward plans for the work area that enable the organisation to deliver on the community strategic plan. Complying with all relevant organisational codes, policies, procedures, guidelines and standards, and with the requirements of the appropriate legislation. About You Do you possess the following? Diploma in Turf Management or equivalent knowledge and experience. Business management qualification an advantage Demonstrated experience at a supervisory level in the turf management industry. Experience in a specialised sports surface construction, maintenance, and renovation techniques. Project Management Qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience.
