Field-based Cultural Heritage Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Field-based Cultural Heritage Specialist to support our cultural heritage projects across Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to surveys, excavations, data interpretation, and regulatory reporting, engaging with Traditional Owners and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site investigations and fieldwork, contributing to CHMPs and providing technical input to final reporting.
* Liaise with project leads, site teams, and clients to meet legislative, technical, and safety standards.

About the Role:
Strong field experience in Australian cultural heritage management and Aboriginal archaeology is required. The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in Australian Aboriginal archaeology or related qualifications
* At least 3 years of experience in Australian Cultural Heritage Management
* Eligibility as a Heritage Advisor with First Peoples – State Relations
