Description
- Reconciling P&L; and balance sheet to trial balance across UK, US & Hong Kong
- Supporting month-end close & resolving discrepancies
- Overseeing bank recs, journals, cost centre allocations, VAT returns
- Producing the weekly cashflow
- Managing stock postings & reconciliations
- Assisting with annual audit prep
- Leading on process improvements & reporting enhancements
- Providing ad-hoc analysis and team support
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the retail industry.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ability to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications or working towards them, with study support available.
