Accounts Officer Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable transactions, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing invoices while maintaining accurate records.
* Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Prepare and issue invoices to clients while maintaining proper records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
* Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and supporting documentation.
* Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address queries and provide necessary information.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
