Hourly Rate $49.35 (including 25% loading) + Super
This role will be required to work a roster of shifts throughout the week, evenings and weekends depending on event needs.

The Role

As a Senior Technician, you will ensure the highest standards of technical excellence and operational efficiency are not just met but exceeded. This position is key to orchestrating the seamless execution of events by managing our cutting‐edge technical equipment like the GrandMA3 and Allan & Heath dLive, ensuring the safety and aesthetic integrity of the venue, and acting as a pivotal technical leader. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of professionals within the City of Whittlesea, alongside engaging directly with our patrons and diverse external stakeholders, including contractors and the general public.

In your role, you will mentor and guide your team, championing a culture of continuous improvement and safety compliance. Your technical acumen will ensure that every stagecraft detail is pixel‐perfect, contributing to the stellar delivery of performances and events that our community loves and expects. By fostering open communication and strong operational strategies, you will enhance event delivery, meeting and often anticipating the complex needs of stakeholders.
