A global technology manufacturer in the renewable energy and power infrastructure sector is seeking a Field Service Lead to oversee service delivery and technical support across Australia.
This role combines technical leadership with hands-on field service work, supporting commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of power electronics, inverter systems, and energy storage (BESS) technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate Field Service Engineers and technicians
* Manage commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of power systems and electrical equipment
* Support energy storage systems (BESS), power conversion systems, inverters and electrical infrastructure
* Work closely with engineering, sales and project teams to support project delivery
* Coordinate service scheduling, field resources, tools and inventory
* Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement
* Ensure all field work meets safety and regulatory compliance standards
Skills & Experience
* Experience working with power electronics, electrical systems, inverters, BESS or power infrastructure
* Previous experience in Field Service Engineer, Service Manager or Field Service Lead roles
* Strong troubleshooting and commissioning capability
* Ability to support customers in industrial, utilities, renewables or power generation environments
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Requirements
* Electrical trade or engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
* 6+ years' experience in electrical field service or power systems
* Experience with HV / MV / power conversion equipment highly regarded
* Ability to travel regularly across Australia
