Job Description
Dental Assistant At DM & CT DENTAL PTY LTD @ Bay of Isles Dental Clinic, We are looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Dental Assistant to perform the following duties:
Responsibilities
Engage with patients, listening to their concerns, and making them feel comfortable during their visits.
Handling office-related duties, such as phone calls, appointment scheduling, and record-keeping.
Setting up and preparing exam rooms for patient appointments.
Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Preparing examination and surgical rooms.
Assisting in taking X-rays to identify affected areas.
Performing routine dental cleanings and assisting in more complex surgical procedures.
Providing hands on support to dentist during the dental procedures.
Passing instruments, suction fluids, and help with tasks like fillings, extractions, and other treatments.
Offering patients guidance and materials for maintaining optimal dental health.
Ensuring a surgically clean work environment to prevent the spread of infection and disease.
Requirements
The right candidate will have at least 1 years of experience
A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.
