ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently offering permanent full-time positions for Registered Midwives in our postnatal floor. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Maternity Services team and provide compassionate care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for planning and delivering midwifery care to women and their babies within a multidisciplinary team. You will make decisions regarding patient care, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working closely with other health professionals.
We are looking for midwives who are committed to constant professional development and are eager to work with the latest research and best practices. You will be part of a high-performing team providing exceptional care, making every day at work a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
REQUIRED SHIFTS & WORKING HOURS:
* Morning 0700 - 1500: 8-hour shifts
* Afternoon 1400 - 2200: 8-hour shifts
* Night Shift 2130 - 0730: 10-hour shifts
ABOUT YOU:
As a Registered Midwife, you will have:
* Authority to practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in midwifery.
* A strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care.
* Dedication to patient-focused care and working as part of a team.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure.
* A commitment to continuous professional development.
* The ability to work across all shifts.
