Site Operations Supervisor Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced site operations supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our construction sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship and successful project outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate a team of carpenters and apprentices to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
* Read and interpret plans and drawings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Organize materials, tools, and subcontractors to support project delivery
* Monitor and report on safety standards and project timelines to stakeholders
* Conduct hands-on carpentry tasks as needed to maintain project momentum and quality
* Communicate effectively with site/project managers to ensure seamless project execution
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade-qualified carpenter (Certificate III or equivalent)
* Minimum 4 years' experience in carpentry with leadership/supervisory experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of residential construction and relevant industry standards
* Able to manage teams and liaise with clients and contractors to achieve project objectives
* Solid problem-solving and communication skills to resolve issues and promote a positive work culture
* White Card, valid driver's license, and own tools required for the role
