Our Journey
Psychologists within Monash Health Mental Health Program work in a range of programs with consumers across the lifespan. As a member of the psychology education team, the Psychology Supervisor will provide supervision to psychology students, Grade 1 and 2 psychologists within the Mental Health Program. This includes individual and group supervision. Working closely with the discipline seniors and the education team (including the Psychology Student Coordinator and Psychology Graduate and Registrar Program Coordinator), the Psychology supervisor will provide high quality supervision that ensures clinicians deliver safe and effective psychological services. The role includes ongoing evaluation.
About You
You are passionate about providing high quality supervision that ensures students and psychologists deliver safe and effective psychological services.
What you need:
1. Current general registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
2. Hold AHPRA endorsement in clinical psychology or educational and developmental psychology
3. Hold supervisor endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) for Registrar Supervision (primary and secondary) and Higher Degree supervision
4. A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the field of Psychology at a minimum P2 (or equivalent) level
