This is a newly created position, not a backfill. The business has built a strong reputation and loyal client base within superannuation and wealth management, and is now moving deliberately into banking, insurance, and broader financial services.
What you'll be doing
* Originate and win new consulting engagements across banking, insurance, and financial services
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing warm accounts across major financial institutions
* Engage senior decision-makers - C-suite, EGMs, Heads of Function to position advisory and transformation solutions
* Work with the Executive team to shape new service offerings and go-to-market approach
* Own the full sales cycle from engagement to delivery
* Build the firm's profile and credibility in a new market segment
What success looks like
* An active pipeline with initial engagements landed within the first 12 months
* Warm accounts converted into ongoing client relationships
* A commercial platform established for sustained growth into Year 2
* The first six months are focused on market entry. The second six on growth and revenue.
What we're looking for
* A senior sales or business development professional with a track record in financial services consulting or professional services
* An established network across banking and/or insurance at senior stakeholder level
* Experience selling advisory or transformation services, not technology or platforms
* Commercial discipline - pipeline management, negotiation, and sound judgment on where to spend time
