Ensure that physical applications enter systems in an accurate and timely manner.
Conduct other administrative duties to ensure appropriate storage and disposal of applications.
Our Ideal Candidates MUST be an Australian citizen to be eligibleStrong data entry skillsHigh attention to detailExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to analyse numerical and written informationAbility to do repetitive tasks on a daily basisReliable and adaptable to respond to changes in workloads and prioritiesKey DutiesManagement and distribution of high volume of mail and correspondencePerform high speed and accurate data entry, document preparation, scanning, personalisation, crop, document/photo exceptions re-workAnalyse paper-based passport applications to online forms (as required)Provide various administrative support in relation to and prior to the issue of Australian travel documents, with guidance as required.Assist in the travel document production workflow, i.e.: ensure data quality prior to the issue of Australian travel documents.Undertake Quality Assurance of travel document application forms prior to print of travel documents.Meet deadlines, required work outputs and performance expectations in line with department's Performance Frameworks.Apply attention to detail, accuracy and produce high quality work in line with the Department's quality thresholds.Please note: Officers will be trained across a variety of duties and are expected to be flexible and adaptable to meet operational requirements.
