About The Role

The Team Leader: Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) Integration will be a valued member of the Mental Health & Wellbeing and AOD directorate to lead our MHAOD Integration team. The Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs (MH&AOD) Team Leader will work with Mental Health (MH) Clinicians and specialised AOD staff as a resource to facilitate integrated treatment, care and support for consumers living with mental ill health and psychological distress and alcohol or other drugs use or dependence, and their caregivers.
Qualifications
* Unencumbered registration with AHPRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Work.
* Registered Nurse or equivalent with post‐graduate qualifications in mental health or a specialist undergraduate psychiatric programme and/or related field.
* At least 5 years' discipline‐specific professional experience as per relevant EBA classification.
* Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
* Advanced clinical skills in assessment and treatment of co‐occurring mental illness and substance use disorders.

Mental Health Services at Albury Wodonga Health
AWH is an Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, providing mental health treatment, care and support, including delivering Alcohol and Other Drugs services. We deliver 10 specialised community‐based programmes, along with three acute care services and three facilities dedicated to recovery and rehabilitation. We also provide services supporting families coping with parental mental illness and facilitating connections to carer consultants.
