The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you'll be a key part of the kitchen brigade, supporting daily service, maintaining high food standards, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced but rewarding remote environment.


What You'll Be Doing

* Running a section during service with consistency and pride
* Preparing and presenting high-quality food across breakfast, lunch and dinner
* Supporting and mentoring Commis and Cooks
* Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
* Working closely with the wider hospitality team to deliver great guest experiences


About You

* Trade qualified Chef with solid CDP experience
* Comfortable working in remote or high-volume environments
* Adaptable, team-focused and resilient
* Strong food safety and kitchen organisation skills
* Available to commit to a remote contract


The Locations

El Questro sits deep in the East Kimberley and is one of Australia's most unique destinations. With multiple venues across the Station, Homestead and Emma Gorge, the food offering ranges from elevated dining to high-volume service in a remote environment.

Lake Argyle is perched on the edge of Australia's largest man-made lake, offering relaxed service, strong team culture, and stunning sunsets every single shift. It's remote, peaceful, and perfect for chefs who enjoy balance alongside solid kitchen structure.

Prior to an offer of employment being made, candidates must provide authority for a Federal Police and Working With Children Clearance to disclose any criminal offences or charges. If you already have a Police Clearance valid within the last 6 months, please upload a copy to your profile.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
