About the Role
Unifying our customer experience across physical and digital channels, our Digital team build and deliver products where technology meets our customers – web, app, and retail.
The Digital Project Manager will be joining an established team to accelerate and deliver enhancements to the Ampol App and contribute to the AU Loyalty Strategy scope of work. You'll be working primarily as a part of the customer team while working across a range of stakeholders including Point of Sale and CRM to ensure seamless functionality for Ampol's customers
This role is a 12 Month Max Term Contract
Key Responsibilities
Contributing to the delivery of the Ampol App and Australian Loyalty roadmap, coordinating delivery across mobile app, CRM, loyalty, and Point of Sale (POS) technology streams
Work in close partnership with the Business Programme Manager and Business Partner to drive effective project governance, including delivery cadence, decision forums, dependencies, and escalation management
Oversee cross-team delivery and integration management across app, CRM, and POS teams, maintaining clear ownership of milestones, risks, and interdependencies within a complex digital and retail environment.
Own project reporting and delivery transparency, providing concise, accurate status updates, risk reporting, and executive-level insights to TDD and business stakeholders.
Bringing a working knowledge of digital app, loyalty, and retail integration environments to proactively identify delivery risks and support informed planning and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience project managing digital app delivery within complex technical environments
Strong capability coordinating delivery across mobile, CRM, loyalty, and Point of Sale (POS) technology teams.
Demonstrated experience establishing and operating effective project governance, including reporting, risk management, and escalation.
Experience partnering with business programme leaders to align delivery outcomes with business priorities.
Solid working knowledge of digital loyalty, customer data, and retail integration problem spaces.
Ability to produce clear, concise delivery reporting for senior technology and business stakeholders.
Experience managing dependencies across multiple delivery streams and vendors in a fast-paced digital environment.
