The Onsite Electrical Engineer / Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of electrical construction works on large-scale onshore wind farm projects in Central Queensland. The role acts as the client's technical representative on site, ensuring electrical infrastructure—including DC cabling, inverters, MV collector systems, substations, switchyards, and transmission interfaces—is constructed in accordance with approved designs, quality standards, and project schedules. The position requires active participation in site walk-downs, review of design and test documentation, identification and close-out of non-conformances, and proactive management of safety, quality, schedule, and scope risks. Working closely with the Construction Manager and wider project team, the role supports reporting, contractor coordination, and assessment of variations or time impacts, while maintaining accurate daily site records in a demanding, remote construction environment.
