About the role
As the Administration Officer you will provide administrative support to the Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative (HVSI) annual grants program including assisting the Grants Officer in managing the application and assessment process, preparation of agreements, monitoring and reporting project status against milestones, payments and managing governance obligations.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
Provide administrative support on a range of grant related matters relevant to the NHVR.
Support the successful delivery of the HVSI program by assisting in the general administration, governance, engagement and reporting functions including preparation of papers, reports and general correspondence.
Coordinate meetings as required throughout the program lifecycle.
Provide administrative support the development, implementation, evaluation and continue improvement of strategic policy and legislative frameworks including the HVSI program.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies (federal, state and local), industry and community.
Take personal responsibility to deliver on agreed outcomes, model high standards of professionalism and ethical behaviour, demonstrate self-awareness and a commitment to personal development.
Offered as a permanent part-time role (3 days per week) You will be joining the Corporate Services Division; tasked with providing strategic vision and purpose through strategic planning, corporate governance, performance improvement and the delivery of corporate services.
