Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in commercial electrical projects? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established electrical services provider delivering a wide range of projects across Melbourne. You'll play a key role in managing the estimating function while also supporting the delivery of electrical projects. With a strong pipeline of tenders and active jobs, the business is looking for someone who can take ownership of pricing, contribute to project planning, and remain involved through the project lifecycle.
The company delivers electrical solutions across a variety of sectors including commercial developments, healthcare facilities, retail environments, education sites, and government infrastructure. With a growing pipeline of tenders and active works, they are seeking someone who can contribute both commercially and operationally to the continued success of the business.
This role would suit someone with strong electrical contracting experience who is ready to step up, expand their skills across estimating and project delivery, and grow into a leadership role while playing a key part in the future direction of the business.
The Role:
* Lead the preparation of electrical estimates and tender submissions across a range of projects.
* Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to determine scope, risks, and pricing strategy.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations.
* Contribute to project feasibility assessments and early-stage cost planning.
* Assist in managing a strong pipeline of tenders and upcoming project opportunities.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the electrical industry.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and project costings.
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines.
* Industry contacts or supplier relationships would be highly regarded.
