About the Role
As an Implant Coordinator, you'll play a key role in managing both import and export airfreight processes. You'll ensure timely and compliant cargo handling, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and maintain high standards of accuracy and service delivery.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Prepare run sheets for Direct AWB terminal collection (Imports) and coordinate with drivers to arrange collection.
* Update Milestones for POD and note any expectations to add Quality Control Events (QCT) in the Tango system.
* Ensure import freight is customs cleared before delivery.
* Assist in locating misplaced cargo by tracing with terminals, customers' warehouses, and Schenker warehouse.
* Attend QF daily operation meetings and provide statistics on import and export shipments.
* Follow up with brokers on customs-held import shipments when required.
* Chase customers for additional clearance information.
* Arrange DAFF inspection bookings with brokers or external DAFF depots for cargo inspections.
* Handle export registration and EDNs.
* Negotiate with airlines to secure the best rates.
* Arrange airline bookings with carriers according to customs service requirements (Routine, Critical, AOG).
* Email export pre-alert documents to destination offices as required.
* Coordinate with drivers to lodge export cargo daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Accurately reserve costs for terminal and airline fees on each shipment.
* Respond to all incoming emails within a reasonable time.
* Label all courier export shipments collected by UPS.
* Assist with AOG desk requests such as completing registrations, carrier bookings, and transport courier bookings.
* Learn and adapt to different systems used in the process.
