A privately owned family business with a solid reputation in the scrap metal industry. Our primary function is the collection and processing of scrap metal.
What are we looking for:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR or HC Truck Driver who is safety focused, self-motivated, flexible, able to prioritise and focused on delivering great customer service. You will have at least one-year previous truck driving experience. You must have a positive attitude, well-mannered and be well presented. The successful applicant must be available to work some weekends as required.
What will my responsibilities be:
* Safe operation of Hook, Skip, Marrell, Dog Trailer and Flatbed trucks. (Training will be provided)
* Liaising with the Supervisor to ensure that all clients are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
* Assist in tracking the movement and pickup of scrap metal bins.
* Liaising with clients at sites.
* Assisting Supervisor with ensuring the correct data for each client is recorded.
What do I need:
* Previous HR or HC Truck Driving Experience.
* Current HR or HC licence required at the time of application.
* Positive & upbeat demeanor.
* Fit & Healthy
* Great communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to details.
* Hiab Crane experience is an advantage.
* Be willing to be trained in other machinery & areas within the Scrap Yard
