As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of Australia's infrastructure by working on a major project that involves upgrading and replacing existing facilities and infrastructure for Defence capabilities over the next 30 years.
The Project Overview
This joint venture between two companies aims to undertake upgrades and replacements across three Department of Defence establishments: Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks, and RAAF Base Wagga. The project includes various elements such as construction of new messing and living in accommodation, training facilities, refurbishment of existing buildings, and remedial works to upgrade infrastructure services.
This position presents an opportunity to make a significant contribution to national infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure constant reporting of the project program status and provide planning and project controls expertise and advice to the project.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and update project programs for both the Planning and Delivery Phases, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project progress.
* Collaborate with Project and Construction Managers to integrate construction methodologies and sequences into the program.
* Prepare and maintain basis of schedule documentation, including 4D modelling and build sequence diagrams.
* Identify and mitigate program risks and constraints, and support tender program development through detailed planning analysis.
Requirements:
* You should have experience working on complex, high-value construction or infrastructure projects.
* A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Construction Management, or similar is required.
* Proficiency in planning software such as Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6 is necessary.
* You should have an understanding of or exposure to 4D planning and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities are essential.
