**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Data Strategy Lead to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies that drive business growth and improve decision-making.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leverage your expertise in data science and analytics to design and apply scientific solutions that meet clinical or commercial needs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape data strategies and ensure solutions are scientifically robust, compliant, and tailored to diverse research needs.
* Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding stakeholders in optimizing data usage and building strong relationships with data providers.
* Manage compliance with internal policies, SOPs, privacy requirements, security standards, and project-specific contracting needs.
* Support complex data application challenges, advise teams on optimal use of RWD in clinical research, and recommend options to expand data availability when needed.
Requirements:
* At least 8 years of experience within CRO, pharma, or data vendor environments, demonstrating deep expertise in data science or data analytics.
* Strong understanding of clinical research processes, drug and device development, healthcare markets, and real-world evidence applications.
* Fluency in English, with additional fluency in Chinese considered an advantage.
* Proven ability to design and apply scientific or RWD solutions to meet clinical or commercial needs.
* Solid knowledge of project management principles and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
* Advanced degree in biomedical informatics, public health, data science, life sciences, or a related field.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder management abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across decentralized teams and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
