As one of the largest Clubs on the Gold Coast, Club Southport is an iconic venue located in the heart of Southport. Our facilities include a 400 seat restaurant, café, four bars, function and event spaces, modern alfresco dining and an indoor–outdoor kids’ playground. Our gaming room features 199 machines with the latest games.
Due to continued growth and recent renovations, we are seeking an Experienced Cook who is passionate about delivering a consistently high quality dining experience. About the Role We are seeking a qualified Cook (ANZSCO ) to join our kitchen team. This position involves preparing, seasoning, and cooking food across a range of menu items within a fast paced, professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect and select ingredients for cooking.
* Measure, clean, chop, blend, season, heat, and cool food according to established recipes and standards.
* Monitor cooking processes to ensure proper cooking, portioning, and presentation.
* Coordinate and collaborate with kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
* Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with food safety and sanitation standards.
* Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control of food supplies and equipment.
* Assist in the development of new menu items and recipes.

Qualifications Required
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
* Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Work Experience: At least 1 year full time
