Job Description:
The Centre of Light for Life is seeking a highly skilled researcher to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in the field of photonics and its applications. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing novel light-based imaging techniques with a focus on their translation to biological research or industry.
As a member of our multidisciplinary hub, you will work closely with key institutes and experts to develop classical concepts for imaging within a vibrant team environment. Your role will involve both experimental work and numerical studies to address real-world challenges through the development of non-invasive biomedical imaging.
Key responsibilities include the development and application of numerical methods of deep learning or multivariate analysis, as well as experience in advanced optical imaging, classical imaging, and multiphoton imaging.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* PhD in Optics/ Photonics/ Physics and/or Microscopy
* Strong focus on light-sheet and multiphoton microscopy
* Experience in one or more of advanced optical imaging, classical imaging, multiphoton imaging, and the development and application of numerical methods of deep learning or multivariate analysis
* Interdisciplinary experience with projects that overlap across multiple fields
