Senior Supervisor – Construction & Maintenance Projects

Protech is seeking a Senior Supervisor to oversee regional operations, lead high‑performing teams, and ensure the successful delivery of major construction and maintenance projects.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of end‑to‑end project performance while building strong relationships with clients, staff, and subcontractors.
About the Role
As the Senior Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a range of construction, upgrade, and maintenance projects across the region. You will provide high‑level supervision to office and field staff, subcontractors, and external partners, ensuring all work meets quality, safety, time, and cost requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Leading the delivery of construction and maintenance projects through effective planning, supervision, and resource management — including staff, subcontractors, plant, equipment, depots, and vehicles.
* Monitoring project progress using strong work order management practices, reporting on quality, expenditure, timelines, and service levels to internal and external stakeholders.
* Managing regional resources to ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and industry standards across all works.
* Providing senior‑level oversight for construction, maintenance, and upgrade activities undertaken by QBuild.
* Delivering operational contract supervision on major and complex construction and engineering projects.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication, negotiation, and delivery of outcomes that meet expectations.
* Promoting QBuild’s services to existing and potential clients, identifying new business opportunities aligned to emerging asset management trends.
* Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with WHS, anti‑discrimination, and HR policies.
* Managing staff performance, conduct, development, and engagement in a proactive and supportive manner.
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction (White Card)
Highly Desirable
* Strong, practical knowledge of building construction and maintenance legislative and regulatory requirements
* Experience supervising teams in a construction, engineering, maintenance, or facilities environment
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, resources, and stakeholders simultaneously
