**About Lindsay Transport**:
Lindsay Transport is one of the largest transporters of fresh produce in Australia and specialises in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres. We operate a network of freight terminals with significant coldroom facilities across the east coast of Australia and employ a staff of approximately 1600 workers.
**You main responsibilities will include**:
- Procurement and purchasing of spare parts
- Ensure there is a consistent supply of spare parts for all workshops
- Maintain stock levels from product lines to parts for all workshops
- Liaise with purchasing team, National Stock Manager, Brown & Hurley Contractor, and Spare Parts Interpreters on stock that is coming in and being used
- Investigate cost effective solutions for the ordering and using of stock
- Oversee all stock takes for workshops and rural
- Management of incoming stock
- Build relationships and negotiate with suppliers to secure best deals
- Research new products to the market
- Reporting on stock and usage or sales for the Workshops and rural stores
- Use systems and programs including Excel to manage stock levels
- Comply with quality, safety and environmental policies including PPE
- Conduct pricing reviews and suggest alternative ways of working
- Guide, direct and coach/mentor reports to ensure performance targets are met
- Travel between sites

- Experience in maintaining stick accuracy and system integrity
