THE ROLE Reporting to the National Business Development Manager and Retail Sales Manager, you will be working in a hands-on role developing and converting new business opportunity leads from the commercial team as well as trade opportunities through the retail corporate stores. Our expectation is that you utilise your skills, experience, contacts, and determination to exceed set budgets through new and rekindled trading relationships, with the intent of expanding our relationships and growing our accounts to increase revenue for the various business units. This role is responsible for (but not limited to): Supporting all lead opportunities right through to conversion Maintaining and developing existing accounts to reach new levels of engagement with Beaumont Tiles Promoting and managing Preferred Supplier Agreements with an existing customer base Establishing and maintaining relevant and meaningful industry network relationships Presenting and educating existing customer base on new product offerings and capabilities Managing a portfolio of existing accounts, including maintaining builder agreements THE PERSON We are seeking an industry professional with a proven successful track record in business development roles and who possesses a natural ability to identify sales opportunities and key buying signals.
