**Electrical Engineering Professional Role**
Terms of employment - Full Time, Monday to Friday work pattern
Job overview:
This electrical engineering technician role involves working on industrial installations and manufacturing lines with a focus on maintaining electrical equipment. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, modifying, replacing, and commissioning electrical systems.
Key tasks and activities include:
- Identifying and resolving faults in industrial electrical equipment
- Carrying out preventative/planned maintenance work to ensure optimal system performance
- Commissioning new electrical equipment and ensuring it is fully functional
- Troubleshooting issues with PLC, robotics, and automation controlled systems
- Identifying areas for improvement in electrical equipment operation and recommending solutions
Requirements:
Applicants should have a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably with at least 3 years' experience. You will need excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Additional desirable qualifications include:
- Background in maintenance and/or project management
- Experience in working in e-waste, waste, or metals recycling industries
- Familiarity with HSEQ standards and procedures
- Scheduling and coordinating contractors
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn, teach, and assist others
Additional information:
Salary range: $60,001 - $80,000 per year
