Job Summary:


Mackay Specialist Day Hospital has a reputation for excellence in customer care. We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team.




Key Responsibilities



* Reception Services: Provide friendly and efficient reception services, conduct face-to-face admissions with patients, and maintain appointment bookings.

* Financial Administration: Manage financial tasks including payments, bank reconciliation, and liaising with health funds.

* Liaison and Communication: Liaise with specialists, anaesthetists, and rooms regarding theatre lists.





Essential Attributes



* Customer Service: Demonstrate high-quality customer service and understand the importance of patient confidentiality.

* Teamwork: Be a team player with flexibility to cover early starts, holiday leave, and weekend shifts.

* Interpersonal Skills: Possess respectful, honest, friendly, and reliable attributes.

* Organizational Skill: Have a high level of organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail while working under pressure.





Preferred Qualifications



* Previous experience using medical software is highly advantageous.
