The Community, Treaty & Media Manager manages aspects of Community engagement and acts as media liaison, as well as helping Traditional Owners engage with the Treaty process by coordinating information flow, supporting participation, and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders.
This role is based in Horsham, Victoria, on a two-year contract, with flexible location options available for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities
* Encourage and support WJJWJ Traditional Owner engagement in the Treaty process
* Prepare communication materials and presentations and act as media liaison
* Promotion of Community events including keeping Community informed of relevant activities of the Corporation
* Liaise with First Peoples' Assembly, Government partners and other TO organisations as required
* Oversee language & dance program, education liaison program and Cultural Services program
* Support grant reporting and funding acquittals
* Coordinate accurate record-keeping
Key Selection Criteria
* Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
* Understanding of the Treaty process and stakeholder roles
* Experience in community engagement, particularly in Aboriginal communities
* Experience working with Government stakeholders
* Experience or exposure working with external media or media agencies
* Ability to produce high-quality reporting and communication materials
* Familiarity with 'Growing What is Good' Country Plan
