As the business continues to grow into 2025, we are seeking an Apprentice Draftsperson to join our team. This role is suitable for a school leaver, career starter, or an apprentice with up to 1–2 years' drafting experience who is looking to continue developing their skills within a professional engineering consultancy.

About the Role
Working under the guidance of experienced engineers and draftspersons, you will assist with the preparation, revision, and management of civil and structural engineering drawings while completing a nationally recognised drafting qualification.
You will gain hands-on experience using CAD drafting software and be involved in real engineering projects, with a clear pathway to progress into a Draftsperson role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the preparation and revision of civil and structural drawings
* Producing engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software
* Updating drawings in accordance with engineering mark-ups and instructions
* Maintaining drawing registers, CAD files, and digital documentation
* Assisting with issuing, printing, and archiving drawings
* Supporting engineers and senior draftspersons with project-related tasks

Training & Development
* Commence or continue a Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or Diploma of Civil Construction Design through TAFE NSW or an approved RTO
* Participate in structured on-the-job training and formal off-the-job study
* Apply technical learnings directly to workplace drafting tasks
* Receive mentoring and supervision from experienced engineers and draftspersons

About You
* Currently undertaking or willing to commence a drafting apprenticeship / traineeship
* 0–2 years' experience in drafting, CAD, or an engineering environment (desirable)
* Exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, or CAD software is advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and good spatial awareness
* Reliable, organised, and motivated to learn
* Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent) preferred
* Current driver's licence (or working towards) required
