Facilities Maintenance Professional
The Facilities Engineer plays a vital role in the upkeep of employee housing units, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance to maintain a comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain employee housing units, including furniture arrangement.
* Ensure common areas of all buildings are well-maintained and presentable, with clean walkways, lobbies, laundry rooms, etc.
* Responsible for lawn and landscape maintenance during summer and snow and ice removal during winter, as well as regular trash removal.
* Perform general upkeep of facility equipment and possess basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of facility equipment and tools.
* Monitor safety and security procedures, reporting any hazards or suspicious activity to management and adhering to all safety standards set by the department and company along with local, city, and state laws.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* Valid, current, and unrestricted driver's license necessary.
