Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our Erskine Park, Sydney team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry-leading first‑class transportation company and play a key part in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses every day to meet their logistics and transportation needs.
Working an afternoon shift starting at 2.00pm, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest level while working in state‑of‑the‑art facilities.

Your Responsibilities
* Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
* Vehicle Maintenance & Repair – Repairing, replacing, and diagnosing issues across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids, trailers); performing major repairs including rebuilds, midlifes, and brake/bearing overhauls; servicing vehicles according to the company schedule.
* Documentation & Compliance – Accurately completing maintenance and repair documentation.
* Breakdown and Emergency Support – Attending to vehicle breakdowns as part of a roster.
What You'll Bring
* Mechanical Trade qualification.
* Demonstrated experience post apprenticeship.
* Proven competence in repairs and overhauls.
* Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued.
* Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW.
* Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided; tool allowance paid).
* Basic computer skills.
* Clear and concise communication skills.
* Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic.
