General Practitioner – Doctors in Secondary Schools Program

Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) is seeking a General Practitioner to join the Victorian Government–funded Doctors in Secondary Schools (DiSS) Program at Bairnsdale Secondary College.
This school-based role offers a unique opportunity to deliver accessible, confidential and youth-friendly primary health care directly to secondary students. Working within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, the GP will collaborate closely with school wellbeing staff to support students' physical health, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, and early intervention and preventative care needs.
Beyond clinical practice, this role contributes to the broader wellbeing culture of the school, supporting health promotion, early engagement and positive health outcomes for young people at a critical stage of life.

About You
You will be vocationally registered with RACGP or ACRRM, have an interest in youth health and early intervention, and be comfortable working in a collaborative, school-based environment. A commitment to inclusive, culturally safe and evidence-based care is essential.
