Due to continued global growth, we're seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team. Candidates will ideally be based in Western NSW (Orange, Bathurst, Parkes or Lithgow) as this role focusses on the Riverina region.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will take ownership of an established territory, manage key direct and distribution accounts while driving new business across industrial automation and manufacturing sectors.
This role is ideal for a commercially driven technical sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer partnerships and uncovering growth opportunities.
Although this position is currently based regionally there may be future opportunities to work from our Sydney office.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales targets
* Manage and grow relationships across direct customers and distribution partners
* Identify and convert new business opportunities within target industries
* Conduct joint customer visits with technical and product specialists
* Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM data
* Analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities
* Stay up to date with new product releases and applications

* Tertiary qualifications in engineering essential, in either Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation.
* Possess exceptional rapport building and relationship building skills
* Solid organizational and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Sound problem solver and reasoning skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience using MS Office suite of programs
* Possess a safety mindset to successfully operate within and promote a safe working environment
* Hold a current driver's central license
* Must have unrestricted work rights
Highly regarded, otherwise training will be provided
* Any technical sales experience, especially with managing a designated sales territory with significant budget accountability and proven consistent track record
* Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or engineering sectors
* CRM software package experience and administrative discipline highly regarded
