About the opportunity

Permanent, Part Time and Casual positions.

We are currently seeking an efficient and professional Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at our Moran Engadine home, nested in a family oriented suburb in southern Sydney.

You will work with driven and diverse people in modern facilities where you will be enabled to develop your skills.

You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents' enjoyment of their life every day.

We are looking for a motivated individual with availability to work afternoons.

Key Duties

• Plating food at mealtimes
• Preparing food under the direction of Chef
• Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
• Restocking supplies and receive goods
• Recording temperatures, complete checklists
• Maintaining personal hygiene standards
• Working as a member of the Food Services teams

Skills and Requirements

• Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their benefits
• Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
• A person who takes pride in what they do
• Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
• Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
