About the Role
As our Site Supervisor, you'll be the on-the-ground leader ensuring each project is delivered safely, on time, and to the premium standard our guests expect.
You'll coordinate trades, manage daily site operations, resolve issues proactively, and keep the project running smoothly from start to finish.
Construction experience in any type of building work is required for this Site Supervisor position.
A minimum of 3–5 years of site supervision experience is required.
This role is offered on a contract basis with an expected duration of 6–12 months.
This role suits someone who thrives outdoors, enjoys working in remote or regional environments, and takes pride in building memorable guest experiences through exceptional craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple tourism construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
Conduct site inductions, enforce safety protocols, and maintain WHS compliance
Monitor project schedules and report progress to the Project Manager
Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications
Manage site logistics, materials, deliveries, and equipment
Identify and resolve issues early to keep projects on track
Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners
What We're Looking For
Carpentry trade background preferable (Cert 3 – Carpentry & Joinery)
Demonstrated 10 year experience in construction industry
Good communication, interpersonal, organisational skills
Good computer and reporting skillsDemonstrated experience in construction site supervision (tourism, modular, or cabin builds highly regarded)
Strong understanding of building codes, safety, and compliance
Ability to work independently in remote or outdoor environments
Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Current driver's licence; construction white card required
White Card and relevant trade licence are required for this position
Ability to start immediately preferred but not essential
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this role
