Join our Research and Clinical Trails Unit at Latrobe Regional Health where a 'world of opportunities awaits'.Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) currently has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and dedicated Site Implementation Facilitator to join our Research and Clinical Trails team.
This position will be on a full time or part time (0.8EFT), fixed term basis, for a period of 12 months.The Site Implementation Facilitator will join a team of researchers committed to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by addressing intergenerational trauma, through service and system changes.
This position is based at LRH and will operate with support from the Indigenous Health Equity Unit, at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health.The Facilitator will collaborate with an Aboriginal-led interdisciplinary research team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers from the University of Melbourne.
The primary focus of this role is to support the implementation of the Firesticks Project at LRH, with a strong emphasis on the DE Approach.About youIdeal candidates for this role will have:Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in Health, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or another related discipline.Demonstrated understanding of, or experience in, Health and Social Services, with a focus on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.Proven ability to apply culturally safe and appropriate communication and engagement skills, including active listening, empathy, and rapport-building.Strong organisational skills, including time management, task planning, and the ability to work independently, while contributing effectively to a team.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to build trust, secure buy-in, and foster meaningful partnerships.Latrobe Regional Health offers a range of benefits including:Salary packaging up to $9,000 per annum.Meals/Entertainment benefit up to $2,650 per annum.Multidisciplinary teamwork across the hospital.Encouragement for professional development and ongoing education.A range of social club activities, discounts and diverse workplace activities.Free access to our Staff Wellbeing Centre offering health education and wellbeing services.The successful incumbent will have extensive opportunities for career development as a member of the Project team.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
