About the Role
* The ideal candidate will be responsible for training, mentoring and motivating the sales team.
* Actively participate in lead generation, client meetings and closing deals personally.
* Balance team development with personal sales performance.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Recruiting, onboarding and training new team members.
* Conducting regular sales training sessions to upskill the team.
* Setting clear goals and targets for each team member.
* Motivating and inspiring the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Handling Client Complaints and Escalations.
Sales Strategy & Execution includes:
* Developing and implementing effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Analyzing market trends and customer feedback to adjust sales approaches.
* Working closely with marketing and product teams to align campaigns and offerings.
* Taking ownership of key accounts and high-value leads to drive revenue directly.
Reporting & Forecasting involves:
* Tracking individual and team sales performance using CRM tools.
* Preparing regular reports on sales metrics and forecasts.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in a B2B/B2C environment.
* Demonstrated ability to close deals personally.
* Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
* Prior experience in IT Sales/Tech Sales Industry.
