About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Weekend Housekeeping Manager to oversee cleaning operations across a portfolio of short-term rental properties. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining hotel-level presentation standards, coordinating cleaning teams and ensuring all properties are guest-ready on time. You will be responsible for weekend outcomes and quality control across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee weekend housekeeping and cleaning schedules
* Conduct property inspections to ensure consistent high presentation standards
* Lead, direct and support housekeeping/ cleaners in a fast-paced environment
* Undertake mid-stay cleans, property-specific tasks, training support and standard departure cleans as required.
* Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and take ownership of outcomes
* Manage linen stock levels, ordering, inventory to ensure property readiness
* Maintain clear communication with the operations team
* Complete structured handover for weekday operations
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning supervision in a high-volume environment
* Experience leading or directing cleaning staff to maintain standards and efficiency
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on presentation and quality control
* Ability to prioritise, problem-solve and work independently under pressure
* Experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, short-term rentals, Airbnb co-hosting or property management environments
* Ability to maintain hotel-level standards in short-term rental operations
Essential Requirements
* Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
* Availability to work Friday to Tuesday roster
