* The main responsibility of this role is to engage with local businesses, understand their capabilities and connect them with major projects.
* The officer will conduct regular site visits to assess capabilities and build relationships.
* Maintaining accurate business data in our CRM is crucial for effective matching.
* Collaborating with project proponents to identify capable suppliers is also essential.
* Attending industry events and networking forums is vital for promoting local industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for an individual who has experience working with industry networks, strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience working with trade or supply chain networks would be beneficial.
* Strong ability to communicate and interact with stakeholders effectively.
* The candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A background in Project Management or Business Development would be advantageous but not necessary.
