About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Fleet Maintenance Administrator to join the team on permanent ongoing basis. This position may be located anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint. Due to team alignment and operational requirements, candidates based in Port Macquarie are preferred.

The Fleet Maintenance Administrator is responsible for providing administration support to the Fleet Department to facilitate the efficient and effective operation of the business unit in achieving its business goals.


Some key position responsibilities include:

* Assist both Operations and Fleet colleagues with daily administration tasks as needed to maintain efficiency within the department.
* Provide administrative support to workshop operations and collate and maintain workshop records and ensure correct administrative procedures are being adhered to by onsite mechanics and fabricators.
* Provide service calls and complete job logs, liaising between the workshop team and client, whilst providing a high level of customer service.
* Produce reports on an ad-hoc basis including but not limited to, financial tracking and fleet operations.


About you

You are an experienced administrator with a strong background in managing operational tasks and supporting business processes. You have demonstrated experience in administrative roles, including managing and processing work orders, stock control, and invoice handling. You are comfortable working in fast-paced environments, meeting deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Your communication skills enable you to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders and relay information clearly.

You possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record maintenance across multiple systems. You are proficient in Microsoft Office and other business systems, and you bring strong organisational and time management skills to handle varied workloads under pressure. Your ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels, from shop floor to senior management, ensures you deliver outstanding customer service.


Required Qualifications

* Certificate III in Business or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
