Executive Assistant to the Executive General Manager General Counsel - Treasury Corporate and Technology Legal and General Manager Responsible AI Legal Do work that matters: Supporting the Executive General Manager General Counsel – Treasury, Corporate and Technology Legal and General Manager Responsible AI in CBA's Legal & Group Secretariat team, you will provide high-level administrative support to manage demanding schedules, and act as a key point of contact to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations.
The team's work is fast-paced and often transactional and includes providing strategic legal support in managing CBA's funding and capital; partnerships and mergers, acquisitions and divestments; responsible AI; supplier arrangements; data and privacy matters; financial reporting and continuous disclosure; and cybersecurity.
Your success will be governed by your experience working with fast-paced C-Suite and other senior executives and understanding the need to pre-empt their needs on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, has exceptional communication and time-management skills. They also excel at managing competing priorities, adapting to changing demands, and providing high-level support with efficiency and discretion.
Your responsibilities will include: Diary & Email Management: Manage schedules and prioritise tasks. Gatekeeping & Communication: Handle correspondence, filter requests, and maintain stakeholder relationships. Travel Coordination: Organise domestic and international travel itineraries. Meeting Support: Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, and book meeting rooms. Event Management: Arrange events, functions, and team-building activities. Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison with internal and external contacts. Establish and maintain strong, effective, strategic and appropriate working relationships within business partners, EAs and other stakeholders. Risk Management: Provide HR support and assist with recruitment requests, staff exits, onboarding/offboarding, and adhering to the Group's policies and procedures. Provide ad hoc administrative support to the wider team. We seek individuals with: Experience supporting a senior leader as an Executive Assistant. A proactive, initiative-driven working style. Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office. High discretion and confidentiality. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Ability to manage workflow, prioritise, and remain flexible under pressure. Professionalism in all forms of interaction.
