Job Title: Coded TIG/MIG Welder Stainless SteelLocation: Deeside, FlintshireProject: New Build Industrial ProjectContract details: Tuesday 6th May startRate: £25.00 per hour PAYE (£22.31 +£2.69 hol pay)Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 07 30Job Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Coded TIG/MIG Welder with experience in stainless steel to join our team on a high-profile new build industrial project. The successful candidate will carry out precision welding tasks to a high standard, working to engineering drawings and site specifications to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel pipework, plate, and structural componentsRead and interpret technical drawings, isometric diagrams, and welding proceduresWork to coded welding standards and ensure all welds meet required inspection and quality levelsCarry out weld preparation, tacking, and finishing to specificationUse grinders, cutters, and other equipment to prepare materials prior to weldingConduct visual inspections and complete weld logs as requiredMaintain high levels of safety and housekeeping in the welding areaLiaise with supervisors, QA personnel, and other trades on-site to ensure smooth workflowOperate in line with site health and safety rules and permit-to-work systemsRequirements:Valid TIG/MIG coding certificates (in stainless steel) preferably to BS EN ISO 9606 or ASME IX standardsProven experience welding stainless steel in an industrial or construction settingAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipCSCS or equivalent safety card (if required for site access)Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamPhysically fit and able to work in a construction environment, including confined spaces or at height (if applicable)Desirable:Experience on pharmaceutical, food-grade, or hygienic pipework projectsKnowledge of orbital welding or other advanced techniquesAdditional certifications such as Manual Handling, IPAF, or Confined Space (advantageous)
