20Talk is seeking a talented and experienced Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team four days per week (Mon-Thursday). This is a part-time position based in our Fremantle office. As our Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective media strategies to support the company's marketing and impact objectives.
20Talk is a youth mental health charity based out of Perth that helps educate young people with the tools and skills to tackle lifes challenges. After founders lost two close friends to suicide in 2017 they decided to create a relatable charity that goes against the grain - no corporate clunkiness, just innovative, interesting projects that resonate and inspire young people to take better care of their mental health.
Since that time, the organisation has grown to a team of 8 that works nationally through impactful programs in media, training and events.
One of the most impactful ways 20Talk educates and inspires young people is through both physical and online media projects. We are looking for a high performing ambitious Media Manager who is ready to continue 20Talk's continued media growth nationally.
What you'll be doing
* Planning and producing impactful mental health content for social media. Working closely with people affected with mental illness and sharing their story with grace online. Insta: @20_talk Tiktok: 20Talk
* Developing, planning and delivering on national physical marketing campaigns often in the guerrilla marketing space. For examples, sticker campaigns, posters and paste up campaign.
* Coordinating and overseeing the execution of small documentaries campaigns and films with external stakeholders.
* Monitoring and analysing campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation.
* Hands on shooting interviews in the studio. Working the camera, lighting and brand design for film videos. Ideally knowledge in film to improve our video quality would be helpful. We use an external video editor which the role will be responsible for managing.
* Managing media coordinator and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and with impact. The role will be direct report to the CEO who takes a special interest in media.
* Staying up-to-date with industry changes and identifying new opportunities to enhance the company's media presence.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing / media or film.
* Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing high impact, innovative marketing to influence large audiences.
* A keen interest in emerging media trends and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
* Real experience with camera / lighting or production teams,
* Interest in mental health and supporting young people
