Accountant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work and contributing to the success of our clients.
About The Role
* Growth Advisory Services: Our Business Services division provides advisory and compliance services to support our clients' success.
* Strategic Planning: We help emerging businesses, fast-growing corporate groups, and high-net-worth individuals across various industries achieve their goals through strategic planning and business mentoring.
* Taxation Compliance and Advice: Our team offers expert tax planning and structuring, as well as taxation compliance and advice, including GST.
* Financial Modelling: We assist clients with financial modelling, business finance applications, and implementation of business information systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional services environment, strong relationship-building skills, and analytical and problem-solving abilities. You will also need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with clients, managers, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with industry standards.
* Tax Planning and Advisory Services: Provide tax planning and advisory services, including structuring and growth strategies, to help clients achieve their business goals.
* Business Operations and Compliance: Assist clients with business operations and compliance matters, ensuring they meet all necessary regulations.
* Mentorship and Support: Mentor and support junior staff members in their development and career growth.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Professional Qualifications: Enrolled in or completed CA or CPA qualification.
* Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of APS and/or Xero is a plus.
* Skill Set: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively.
* Experience: Experience in a professional services environment, particularly in tax and advisory services.
