Are you a remarkable National Field Manager who is a results driven sales leader with a solid understanding of the Grocery, Retail & Pharmacy channels?
Do you have a minimum 12 months of people management experience and 2+ years sales FMCG experience?
The purpose of this role is to lead and develop a team of field representatives to drive staff engagement and executional excellence. You will deliver sales and margin expectations of the business and increase account expenditure performance through identifying and strategically formulating plans to meet management outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Providing strong leadership to a team of field representatives including developing, coaching, and leading them to succeed.
- Delivering precise planning and execution inclusive of activity and campaign planning in line with business and customer needs
- Innovating within your role and team to ensure the brands competitive advantage within market
- Providing actionable insights from report analysis at sales updates and performance reviews as required
- Ongoing productivity management and reporting with regular resource review to ensure efficient and effective coverage
- Internal stakeholder engagement to deliver marketing, sales and promotional initiatives
- Recruit, train and induct new members of the team with a focus on staff retention/engagement
- Improving the quality of staff performance by continually reviewing process and looking at ways we can be more efficient
- Use commercial awareness to ensure we continue to develop our sales approach to offer a win/win solution to our customers

**Experience & Skills Required**:
- Experienced in Grocery, Discount Department Retail and Pharmacy accounts - in particular Woolworths, Big W, Chemist Warehouse (advantageous)
- Minimum 12 months of managerial experience (required) and minimum 2+ years sales experience in FMCG environment (highly preferred)
- Ambitious and hands-on leader with a passion for both engaging customers in the marketplace and coaching and development of people
- Demonstrated ability to effectively recruit, lead and retain staff
- Ability to demonstrate category leadership and execute key trade activations
- Strong commercial acumen with analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational skills as a good time manager and effective multi-tasker.
- Superior complex problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience effectively leading, training and coaching a national field.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to articulate numbers to drive decisions and process changes
