Specialist Officer, Triage (12-Month Secondment) We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused team member to join our Dispute Resolution Operation Triage team for a 12-month secondment. In this role, you’ll enable our workforce by triaging Internal and External Dispute Resolution (IDR & EDR) complaints, managing inboxes and phone lines, and ensuring our customers receive timely, fair, and professional outcomes. What you’ll do: Accurately triage and manage IDR and EDR complaints, including recording details in our systems. Respond professionally to customer inquiries and escalate cases where vulnerability is identified. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including AFCA. Contribute to team goals, support peers, and identify opportunities for process improvement. What you’ll bring: 1–2 years’ experience in general insurance or dispute resolution. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure. Confidence using Microsoft Office and navigating multiple systems.
