This position will be based at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW, 2314.
Details:
As an Integration Specialist at Bonboo you will be required to contribute to the development of Live and Synthetic activities.
Responsibilities:
The BWC Specialist is required to contribute to the development of the Air Warfare Centre's (AWC) Battle Worthiness Framework (BWF). Key persons are selected based on their ability to actively contribute across a range of systems-level evaluation dimensions:
• Systems networking development and effectiveness assessment;
• Mission engineering concepts development (understanding information passage requirements and pathways from operational to tactical levels);
• Weapons system evaluation (evaluation of weapons effectiveness in a networked environment), and;
• Other specialist skills that contribute to the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of combat capabilities (i.e. any platform expertise, project background and/or experience in system-level experimentation).
The BWC Specialist is the team member responsible for bringing tactical and operational air combat and C2 expertise to guarantee training outputs that mirror real-world air combat execution.
The Battle Worthiness Specialist is an expert in mission planning, capability development, integration and execution and has authority, where required, to modify or shape individual elements to meet learning outcomes and facilitate valid training paradigms.
Secondary Responsibilities:
In addition to the tasks described above the BWC Specialist will be required to possess a strong understanding of:
• Military aviation operations (as an operator and mission commander).
• Multi-platform operations, particularly integrated and joint operations.
• Exercise design, planning and execution.
• Aviation safety and the RAAF Aviation Safety Management System; and
• The incumbent must have a working knowledge of:
o Live and Synthetic training and operations.
o Distributed mission training; and
o ADF and RAAF education frameworks.
Employment Requirements and Skills:
• Australian citizenship.
• Experience in ADF Operational Capability environments, Test or Tactics Development frameworks; and
• Large Force Employment & Mission Command experience.
Desirable Employment Requirements:
• Instructional qualification.
• Australian Weapon School Graduate.
• Coalition integration experience.
• Multi-platform experience.
• Systems networking development and effectiveness assessment experience
• Mission engineering concepts development experience; and
• Weapons system evaluation experience.
Security Requirements:
• Obtain and maintain TSPV clearance at all times while performing Services.
• The incumbent must be an eligible nationality to meet ITAR requirements.
• The incumbent must be eligible to access Australian Eyes Only (AUSTEO) caveated information at all times while performing Services, unless otherwise agreed by the Commonwealth.
Total Renumeration Package Range:
$270,000 - $290,000 includes Superannuation. p.a. Full-time basis, including regular employee leave allowances and benefits.
